What is NAA?

NAA is a synthetic plant hormone belonging to the family of auxin. It has wide application in agriculture and plant tissue culture for promoting rooting in plants.

How To Use NAA?

Follow the given steps to prepare the tissue culture media using PCT’s supreme grade agar:

Prepare liquid tissue culture media using PCT’s MS media and add sugar based on the quantity of media you’re making (generally for 1-liter media 25-30 grams of sugar is added), 1ml PPM, and 4 grams of gellan gum.

Then, add the desired quantity of the plant hormone.

Autoclave the medium for 20 minutes at 15 psi and 121℃.
