NAA is a synthetic plant hormone belonging to the family of auxins. It is widely used in agriculture and plant tissue culture to promote rooting.
How To Use NAA?
Follow the given steps to prepare the tissue culture media using PCT’s NAA Powder:
- Prepare liquid tissue culture media using PCT’s MS media (4.54 grams) and add 25-30 grams of sugar, 1ml PPM, and 4 grams of PCT gellan gum or 8 grams of PCT agar.
- Then, add the desired quantity of NAA from the prepared NAA stock solution.
- Autoclave the medium for 20 minutes at 15 psi and 121℃.
